TeBS enables leading Telecommunication service provider to automate and streamline project monitoring and tracking of internal projects
Background
The client is a one of the largest Singaporean Telecommunication service provider. The group has more than 130 years of operating experience and has played a pivotal role in the country’s development as a major communications hub. It has a vast network of offices throughout Asia Pacific, Europe and the USA.
The Need
The client wanted a centralized Project Management Portal to reduce manual efforts and time spent to update timesheets, project information, program and project statuses and other related information. This project management portal would provide effective and efficient progress monitoring of programs and projects, resource utilisation, benefits realisation and forecasting of performance.
Solution Provided
The TeBS team worked with the customer team to define and understand their business challenges and implemented ProjectSenz – a project management solution built on SharePoint platform. Projectsenz also uses Nintex Business Process Management suite for capturing program and projects related data and Nintex workflows for implementing the business process.
TeBS’ ProjectSenz provided the client users with the following benefits:
- Enabled Group COE Business Stakeholders, Program and Project Managers and Team members to effectively manage and maintain programs, projects and timesheets with reduced data replication and redundancy.
- Enabled Project Managers to manage project information such as stage, status, milestones, tasks, cost, benefits, risks, action item, schedule, scope change, documents.
- Enabled Program Managers to manage program information, status update, benefits, cost, documents for their programs. Additionally managers are able to manage stage, milestones, tasks, benefits, risks, action item, schedule and scope change for the projects under their programs.
- Enabled Team Members to view information, manage sections (issues, action items, and risk) for assigned projects. Team member shall enter timesheet for individual projects and non-project tasks on a weekly basis.
